Brother Tip Tattoo & Art was established in October 2024 as more than just a tattoo studio it was created as a place of belonging, healing, and inspiration.

Founded by a father-and-daughter duo, the brand was born from a powerful journey of transformation. For John Tipene, art became a lifeline. After spending much of his life in and out of prison shaped by childhood trauma and historic abuse art offered not just a creative outlet but a pathway back into society.

Brother Tip represents a change in narrative: from pain to purpose, pen to paper, from isolation to community. Through art, John found healing, and together we built a space where others can do the same.

Our mission is to empower families, support artists, and inspire people to embrace their authentic selves. Brother Tip is more than ink on skin it’s about rewriting stories, keeping passion alive, and proving that growth and redemption are always possible.
